May 18: “Metamorphoses” — celebrating the 90th birthday of the preeminent American composer George Crumb with a performance of his new piano cycle “Metamorphoses” (2016, Georgia premiere).

May 14: “Spring Will Come!”— Brahms Horn Trio, Schubert “Shepherd on the Rock,” and art songs about flowers and nature.

A historic 1882 building with an exquisite Victorian interior.


May 15: “Kreutzer Sonata” — Janacek’s String Quartet of the same name with a dramatic reading from Tolstoy’s short story that inspired it. Rounded off with Brahms’s gorgeous string sextet performed by the Jupiter String Quartet with UGA faculty guests.
